first_imgThe Vancouver Community Library was closed for about four hours Tuesday due to a problem with its electrical system that caused the majority of its lights to fail.An employee at the library, located at 901 C Street, said the lights stopped working, and an electrician was still trying to get them back on around noon Tuesday.Library branch manager Jackie Spurlock said staff arriving for work between 7:30 and 8 a.m. discovered the outage. Lights in the majority of the building weren’t working, but other electronics like its computers were, she said.Spurlock said the library reopened around 1 p.m.last_img
