Warner now has the most fifties in the Indian Premier League.Before the start of IPl 2019, Warner and Gautam Gambhir jointly held the record with 36 fifties. Gambhir, who led KKR to two IPL titles moved to Delhi Daredevils (now Delhi Capitals) last year before stepping down as captain midway into the 2018 season after a poor start for the team.Gautam Gambhir retired from all forms of cricket which means he will now not be able to add to his tally of IPL fifties.KKR vs SRH, IPL 2019: HIGHLIGHTS | REPORTWarner, playing his 115th IPL match, was well on course to score his 4th hundred in the Indian Premier League but he fell to Andre Russel for a 53-ball 85.Warner was banned for a year by Cricket Australia over his role in the ball-tampering scandal. He was also not allowed to play the IPL by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). However, on Sunday, Warner came out all guns blazing and took KKR’s bowlers to the cleaners.In 2016, David Warner scored 848 runs as Sunrisers Hyderabad defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore to win the IPL. In 2014, he scored 528 runs before making 562 runs from 14 matches in 2015.Warner was also in destructive form in 2017 when he scored 641 runs in 2017.David Warner loves the KKR bowling attack. He is now the leading run-scorer against KKR with 761 runs.
