In Donegal and across the country citizens deserve quality public services delivered locally and I will strive to ensure that they are maintained and improved”. He also went on to say “pay restoration for public servants is top of my agenda. Since 2009 we have seen our pay diminish by around 20%. The current pay talks are critical to ensure workers have their pay restored, we didn’t cause the problem, but like our colleagues in the private sector, we have continued to be penalised and have paid a heavy price in the slashing of our terms and conditions. It’s time that fairness was applied and IMPACT trade union is seeking what is rightfully ours by the restoration of our pay and I look forward to playing a key role in that”.BALLYBOFEY MAN ELECTED TO TOP UNION JOB was last modified: May 21st, 2015 by StephenShare this:Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window)Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window)Click to share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)Click to share on Reddit (Opens in new window)Click to share on Pocket (Opens in new window)Click to share on Telegram (Opens in new window)Click to share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)Click to share on Skype (Opens in new window)Click to print (Opens in new window) Tags:donegalMANDATESean Reidunionlast_img
